The most rewarding part for me about being a REALTOR® is helping
folks find just the right home and then seeing them settle in. I look forward
to being a part of that with you.
Thank you for allowing me to be of
service to you.

Searching for the right home
can be a time-consuming and tedious process. MLSpulse does the searching
for you per the search criteria you have entered. The benefits to you are
four-fold.
- The searching is done automatically,
thereby saving your time,
- You am notified of all new or updated
listings meeting your criteria within 10 minutes of them being posted on the
Multiple Listing Service,
- At any time you can access your search
and change your search criteria,
- With listings in hand, you can explore
towns and neighborhoods on your own to get a feel for the areas in which you
would like to live.
Research studies have shown
that potential homebuyers spend an average of five months from the time they
start "thinking" about buying a new home until the time they actually do so.
With this in mind, I encourage our potential homebuyers to use MLSpulse
for as long as they desire.
When you do so, I will never set up a phone
campaign always asking, "When are you planning to buy?" What I will do is
periodically email information to you that I believe is useful for folks
searching for a new home in Connecticut.
If you are already looking at
homes in Connecticut with another REALTOR® and have signed a Buyer's
Agreement with that REALTOR®, then please do not use MLSpulse. It
would be a violation of the Code of Ethics of the National Association of
REALTORS® for me to also be assisting you. My service is not meant as a
solicitation.
Remodeling and Renovations >Do Not Over Improve
You have received some extra money! You want to remodel! If you are planning a major renovation, take a few sensible precautions before having plans drawn up and signing on the contractor's dotted line.
Any time you do any significant remodeling, you run the risk of over-improving your home. Please call or send an email if you are interested in a market analysis of what your home is currently worth. We can talk about neighborhood trends and discuss the recent sales of homes in your area.
If your neighborhood is experiencing healthy appreciation, making major changes to your home might make sense. However, if there is not much difference between the prices of remodeled homes and those which have not been renovated, expensive changes may be hard to recover if you sell your home soon. Please call or send an email to get help deciding if remodeling and renovations are in your best interest.
